My Take
Flour is the kind of place you go to three times a month without thinking about it. The sticky buns are famous for a reason, but I'm usually there for a quick coffee and the egg sandwich. Not trying to change your life, just reliably good.
Why It Matters
Every neighborhood needs a bakery you can walk to without checking the menu. Flour is that for the South End. Joanne Chang built something that's excellent without being precious.
